Bad breath is a very common yet unpleasant condition. There are many people suffering from this condition throughout the world.  Bad breath can occur periodically or can be a persistent feature. It all depends on the root cause of it.

The most common cause is the lack of proper oral hygiene.  People who do not regularly brush their teeth or floss has persistent smelly breath. Another common reason is the presence of food residues in the mouth. That allows anaerobic bacteria to act on them and in the process releases foul odor, which we call as bad breath.
